About Clarisa

I hold credentials as an Education Specialist and presently serve as a teacher for students in grades 5-8 with special needs. I offer tutoring services in mathematics as well as reading and writing. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Arts in Special Education. On a personal note, I'm a mother to a toddler and a proud bonus mom to four children. Having a brother with Down syndrome and a step-daughter on the autism spectrum has deeply influenced my perspective. Individuals with special needs hold a significant and cherished place in my heart. I'd describe my personality as silly, kind, and creative. I like tutoring because I love to see the "ah ha" moment in a student's eyes. In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, and spending time with my family.
