About Clovelle

I was born and raised in the Bay Area my whole life specifically Vallejo, CA. Before receiving an MA in English from Mills College, I earned my BA in adolescent development and AA in early childhood education. I have been in the education field for 8 years. Within those 8 years I worked as an assistant teacher (Infant-PreK) and worked my way up to Lead Pre-K teacher at CLIF Bar's onsite child care center: Clif Base Camp. After teaching at Base Camp I became a coordinator and teacher for after school programs (K-12). I have experience with online learning and tutoring in English with HS and college students. During college I allotted my time in volunteering and interning at programs such as YMCA and the program Reading Partners. I am currently a Reading Specialist at a private school located in Davis, CA.
