About Coleen

I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I am allowed to be a stabilizing and invaluable part of someone's life. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make a difference in someone's life which also enriches mine as well. I started caring for seniors when I was an Activities Director at a local facility which encompassed those with memory impairment issues. I was also the main caregiver for my elderly mother during the last year of her life. In my spare time I enjoy baking, reading and spending time with my family. One thing you should know about me is that I am caring, nurturing and compassionate. It's important to provide loving care to the one being cared for but to also caring support for the families as well. My skills include bathing, changing, cooking and feeding meals to seniors.
