About Colleen

I'd describe my personality as patient, caring and fun. I like working with kids because they always keep me on my toes. I love working with babies and helping them grow into little people. Being able to see the world through a kids eyes is one of the most rewarding experiences. I'm looking for a job where I fit in with the family, every family I have worked with I am still in close contact with. Being a nanny, you become part of the family and that connection is very meaningful. I started working with kids when I was still a kid, I started as a mothers helper at 12 years old. Babysitting full time in the summers by 16, working at day cares in college, then nannying full time after college. In my spare time, I like to take my pup on a walk, go swimming, ride my bike, paint, do diy crafts, hang out with my friends and family. My skills include working with multiples, having a ton of patience, and try to turn things into learning experiences. I am also a former lifeguard and swim coach.
