We worked with Pat as a night nurse for our second child for 4 months, beginning a few days after we brought her home from the hospital. Pat was referred to us by a trusted friend who had just finished working with Pat for 4 months with their second child. We found Pat to be caring, professional (always arrived 10 mins early), courteous, and very good with our daughter. Pat stays awake during the night and helps with light housework when baby is sleeping -- cleaning bottles, kids laundry, emptying dishwasher. She provides detailed text updates with timestamps on sleep, feed, and diaper events. While Pat has lots of experience with babies and is able to share advice or suggestions if requested, she is also open to following different parenting preferences and requests. While our baby was probably easier than most in terms of sleeping, she was a bit resistant to bottle feeding, but Pat was patient and open to experimenting with different bottles and was the most successful at getting baby to consistently bottle feed nightly. Pat was also extremely flexible with us as we underwent an emergency home repair project during the time we worked together. We've happily recommended Pat to friends with new babies and do so here too.
