About Connie

I always knew I wanted to teach. It was without a shadow of a doubt that I wanted to educate young minds and spread knowledge into the world. After all, just as Phil Collins said, "In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn." Oh how true that is! Although life took me in the direction of Emergency Medicine, I still value education greatly. I volunteer with Big Brother Big Sisters of The Inland Empire and I have been since I was in my sophomore year of high school. I volunteer with Hillside Elementary in the city of San Bernardino and tutor two other students regularly. I hold an EMT state license, a Teacher's Aide certificate, and various other medical-related certificates. When I'm not working or tutoring you'll find my nose stuck in a good book or spending time with my younger siblings on some new adventure.
