About Courtney

As a babysitter, former 4H camp counselor, Child Watch staff member and Summer Camp Counselor for the YMCA I have background in working with children from the ages of newborn to 16 years old. My most challenging and rewarding childcare experiences are a result of my position at the YMCA. For many summers, I provided child care to children, ages 4-16, by creating and implementing games to entertain them for eight hours a day, five days a week and maintain a structured environment. In seasons outside of summer, I worked with children under the age of 4 in a Child Watch position where parents would take their children for the duration of their workout. I am an expert diaper changer, split-second game maker, and love challenging children to understand their potential and capabilities. Working with children in this capacity has provided me with my most proud and memorable experiences. I am now a Physician Assistant student and enjoy working with children in my free time.
