About Courtney

Hi! After several years in the mental health field, followed by customer service and sales, I've decided to go back into childcare. I recently started work at a preschool as a Teacher Assistant and plan on going back to school to pursue a masters degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout high school and college, I babysat for several families consistently (age ranges from infants to middle school). I also taught swimming lessons for 10+ years (ages 6 months-adults), including children with special needs. I plan on starting lessons back up this coming summer as well. In the mental health field, I worked as a Case Manager for children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral disorders among other roles involving advocacy and education. My style of childcare includes time outside, reading, crafts, interactive play and so forth. I enjoy cooking and meal prep, helping with homework as well as house chores and errands.
