I like working with animals because as a pre-veterinary student it allows me to for deep connections, understand their behavior and contribute to their well-being. The feeling to care and advocate for animals and each experience brings me closer to my goal of becoming a veterinarian. I'm looking for a job that offers hand on experience with animals that are people friendly, opportunities for learning and growth, and a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their owners. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate my studies would also be ideal. I started working with animals when I had my own pet of 12 years until she sadly passed away. I've been doing dog sitting and walking for about 10 years working with large and small dogs of various ages from 8month-16 years of age. My skills include feeding and providing clean water. Observing and recognizing signs of ill es or distress in pets. Safely giving and prescribing medication as directed by a veterinarian.
