I have worked as a musician for the past 30 years. For the past 10 years I've been a piano teacher to students ranging in age from 5-18. I've instructed my students in basic piano, as well as preparing them to perform. My goal has been to demystify the music learning process, thus adapting my teaching skills to fit the needs of individual students. In addition, for the past 10 years I have worked as a substitute teacher, focusing on math and English. I've also tutored some students after school in math and English. My goal as been to improve their comprehension skills, thus helping them to do better in class along with performing better on standardized tests.
