About Dagem

Hello! I am an Ethiopian-American who was born and raised in Los Angeles. I have been a caregiver on/off for a few years to save money to pay for my physical therapy doctoral program. I come from a very large family with 30+ cousins, which is why I love working with children. My previous clients would describe me as patient, proactive, an effective communicator, disciplined, and adaptable. I am capable of working with children of all age groups and with children with behavioral struggles. Although I have never been a caregiver for a child with a disability; I have experience working with children with disabilities at a Motor Development Clinic. If given the opportunity, I will demonstrate nothing short of a five-star service because I am an individual who works hard to surpass the expectations of my clients. Finally, I am aware that entrusting your family to a new caregiver is nerve-racking; however, I would treat them as if they were my own family.
