I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science, but my love for children has led me to find a job in child care while pursuing my degree. These subjects may seem unrelated, but I have found that my problem-solving and critical-thinking skills have been incredibly valuable in my approach to child care. I first started babysitting for family friends when I was 14 years old, and it quickly became a favorite hobby of mine. After high school, I decided to take my passion for child care to the next level by working in a daycare for six months. During my time there, I primarily cared for 3-year-olds, and I quickly learned how to engage them in fun and educational activities while maintaining a structured routine. After my experience as a daycare teacher, I expanded my skills by working as a nanny for a family for one year. During this time, I gained valuable experience providing individualized care for multiple children simultaneously while connecting with them on a personal level.
