About Dana

I am a teacher certified in elementary education, intermediate mathematics, and advanced mathematics. I have taught every grade level (except 5th) from third grade through twelfth grade, and I have tutored students whose ages range from 5 to 25. I have taught a graduate level statistics lab course for psychology students, and I have taught at the OCCC College for Kids summer program. My experience is very diverse: I have taught in two different states; in public, private, and charter schools; in urban, suburban, and rural schools; and in elementary, middle, and high schools. I have tutored college-bound juniors and seniors students trying to raise their ACT or SAT scores and have several success stories there. I have tutored kindergarten students behind in learning basic reading skills. I got my bachelors degree in 2003 and I will be completing my masters degree in education this May.
