I am currently my special needs daughter's(19 yrs old) Care Attendant, I am also her court appointed Guardian and am with an agency(you dont have to be). I am not medically trained but I do have almost 20 yrs experience with CP(hypo and hyper), Autism, chronic constipation, urinary retention, diapered, gtube/NG tube fed, medication via oral, tube or rectal, non-verbal, non-abulatory, etc. I can lift 100lbs from the ground if the patient is somewhat agile and can assist, I can lift 80 from the ground and carry 15 ft without assist. I am familiar with transfers, toiletry, showers and dressing. I have my own transportation and I am CPR/First Aid Cert, have fingerprint clearance and I am in the process of starting the continuation of my education within the medical field. Currently I am available M-F 830 a.m. until 630 p.m. Sat and Sun need to be worked out in advance as I also have a respite provider for my daughter.
