About Daniel

For 31 years, as Park Ranger/Education Specialist, I collaborated with classroom teachers in schools and National Parks to create inquiry based, curriculum focused, education activities for students in grades K-12. As a fourth grade classroom teacher, and as a parent of two kids, I used these same techniques to combine fun with learning about mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. I continue to combine my love of nature, and history, with inquiry learning when tutoring elementary and middle school students in core curriculum subjects.
