I have experience tutoring English and Chinese for beginners. I spent a year in China teaching and tutoring English to children 3-18 years of age. I have also tutored Chinese in America to those who were looking for help with a Chinese class, or to get started in understanding the basic fundamentals of Chinese. In addition to ESL and Chinese I am happy to help students with tutoring in other areas as well. I was a teacher's assistant and Resident Adviser while attending Berea College and tutored peers in writing papers, studying, and balancing school and work. Teaching is a passion of mine and I believe that learning is a fun and important part of living life and it is a teacher's job to inspire students to want to learn and accomplish their goals. Having the right teachers can make all the difference in a life. I also am very comfortable with pets.
