About Dearra

I like caring for seniors because I was raised by my grandmother. She meant the world to me. I got the chance to care for her and understand the importance of the needs of seniors. In my spare time, I like to read and see. My grandmother was a teacher so reading has always been a favorite pastime of mine. She also taught me to sew. I loved it so much I studied fashion in NYC got my first college degree as a Fashion Designer. One thing you should know about me is I see myself as an extended family member when caring for seniors. I provide the comfort and care that some loved ones don't have the freedom to. I am a reflection of the love the family has for their loved one. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant and A Certified Medication Aide. I can provide daily task such as feeding meals, activities, light cleaning, showers, personal care needs, mobility assistance. I can also help with medication administration and insulin checks along with the administration of insulin.
