About Deborah

I have a master's degree in Library Science with an emphasis on Children's and Young Adult Services. I have worked as a Children's Librarian in public libraries for over 12 years. In that position, I planned and presented weekly preschool story time programs, arts and crafts activities for school-age children, music and movement activities. In my spare time I enjoy reading and taking yoga classes. While working for Club Z Tutoring, I tutored a 3rd grade boy in reading comprehension and 9th grade boy in math. I also tutored elementary and middle school students in math and reading, and helped them with their homework at Back-to-Basics Tutoring at the Church of the Palms. I currently run the Media Center at Riverview High School. I am patient, nurturing and caring and am looking for a part-time job as a nanny or tutor.
