About Deb

Now that my daughter is on track to successfully complete her first semester away at college, I am enthusiastically looking forward to the next phase of my life! I am seeking opportunities that speak to my strengths and interests. One of the most influential aspects of my life was the special bond I had with my grandmother. I have always felt an almost gravitational pull towards seniors. I realize there is so much to learn from their life experience. I was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels for a time. For many of my clients I was the only human contact they would have that day or even that week. With that in mind, I felt it incumbent on me to always greet them with a smile, and I always spent as much time with them as I could. That experience cemented in me the knowledge that I have the unique skill set to work with seniors. I will be an exceedingly patient, kind, positive, responsible, trustworthy Companion/Caregiver.
