Prior to nannying I was a preschool teaching for 3 years working with kids ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Before that I was an assistant kindergarten teacher. I am CPR & first aid certified. Desiree has been an incredible asset to our family dynamic, and especially in providing me the necessary comfort as a first-time mom. Her prior experience with infants and toddlers has shined through as she’s assisted my son in meeting critical age-appropriate milestones. She is innovative with her techniques of educating, she is timely and organized with his schedules and routines, and is highly attentive to his needs and reporting anything out of the ordinary. Desiree is gentle and nurturing and is always at my sons level for playtime. She has always been incredibly flexible with our schedules, and her willingness to be available when necessary takes childcare to the next level. Although our son is ready to socialize in a preschool setting, our family hopes to have Desiree back for our future child. She has built a bond and trust with our family for life, and I HIGHLY recommend her for your own family’s peace of mind.
