About Desiree

My name is Desiree, and I recently graduated from Loyola Marymount University. I was able to attain my degree 3 years earlier than expectancy with an above 3.0 GPA average. During high school, I was able to lead the Math club and help fellow students. I am currently a tutor for all ages, my experience is with Math. I also have child experience from volunteering at a nursery. I have been tutoring Math since May of last year. I am able to help students who need help in college or school. I have tutored math for as young as 12. However, I have experience in the nursery with children from 0-5. I also have experience tutoring adults in Math. Whether it be a placement test or class, I am readily available. The highest level of Math, I have experience tutoring is Algebra 2. As a tutor I strive to develop students to be able to do well with and without a tutor. Often times a student will be doing well with a tutor, but not well in the classroom. My hope is that I can teach a student not only the right answer, but the concept and technique behind it. Math can be a lot of fun, it just takes time to develop the ability to understand the concepts. I hope you will take time to consider my services. I look forward to speaking with you.
