Hi! My name is Deychen and I'm super excited to get to know you! I am a native New Yorker, recent BFA graduate, actor, classical musician, dancer and choreographer. I am seeking the opportunity to teach dancing, music or acting. I have experience in arts education and have worked with kids ages 4-18 as well as adults well into their 80's. I have lots of experience teaching various styles of modern dance and ballet. I obtained my BFA in Drama and have experience teaching varied acting techniques and can develop courses specific to a student's interests. I attended Juilliard's School of Music and have experience coaching violin and viola. My background enables me to bring varied artistic perspectives to many different learning environments and I have experience and enjoy merging academic studies with arts education.
