About Dion

Hello, My name is Dion, and I'm attending The University of North Texas with a major in counseling. My goal is be a child counselor or a marriage counselor. I have some experience working with children. I had an internship in high school, where I would go to an elementary school to teach the kids their lessons for the day. I then proceeded to work at an after school program. My responsibilities were to make sure the children did their homework, ate their dinner, and allowed them playtime once all of their responsibilities were finished. These experiences helped give me exposure working in an environment with children. I am confident that the skills that I have learned in these roles will help me become a successful counselor. I am very independent, kind, and I love working with children.
