About Dipa

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, and flexible. I like working with kids because I love children and have two children of my own. I'm looking for a job that has one child, accessible via public transportation, and a family that communicates effectively. I started working with kids eight years ago with a premature infant, and since then have worked consistently with children between the ages of 0-5. I have references for three families available upon request. In my spare time, I like to cook Indian and Nepali food and often do this during downtime for the families I work with. One thing you should know about me is that I record activities in a daily log for parents. It helps them understand their child's activities for the day and provide a good handoff. My skills include feeding (milk and early solid food introduction and beyond to toddler feeding), general schedule management (naps/mealtimes/playtime), and cooking/housekeeping.
