About Dorothy

I'd describe my personality as kind, thoughtful and empathetic. I like working with kids because I am a military spouse (for 30 years) - and having raised 4 kids and moving every 3 years - my time was spent in schools and church volunteering where my kids were involved. Getting to know families and helping is part of who I am. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and fulfilling- I'm an empty nester and have time. Helping comes naturally to me. I started working with kids when my kids were toddlers and in elementary - so as far back as 2001 In my spare time, I like to do photography and also organize spaces to make living clutter free and more efficient. My degree is in Architecture Interior Design and I love doing space planning. I also enjoy baking with my daughters when they are home. One thing you should know about me is I'm a positive and outgoing person who loves God and my family. My skills include patience, problem solving, empathy and reliability.
