About Elaine

I moved to Wilmington from Raleigh in the summer of 2022. It was not easy leaving the Montessori school where I had worked for 15+ years in the main office solo as well as filling the role of school nurse. We serviced preschool-aged little ones up to 8th-grade middle schoolers. It was a blessing to be there every day! The children, families and my co-workers had all become my second family. I had always dreamed of moving to the beach and working at a college and here I am in Wilmington working at UNCW and loving this next chapter. I even get to see several of my students as they are now attending and will hear "Ms. Elaine!?!?!?" screamed across campus every so often followed by a running hug! I am available most evenings after 5:30 p.m. and most anytime on weekends. Looking forward to meeting a nice family that could use a loyal, reliable, responsible, and FUN sitter.
