About Eli

Although I have worked many types of jobs, childcare has always been my favorite. I have been a babysitter for many families on occasion. I have also worked nanny jobs including a family with girls of 9 and 3 and a boy of 5 as well as a family with a boy of 5, 4-year-old twins and a baby under 1. I feel that it is important to give children focused care through a babysitter or nanny, instead of daycare centers that can't possibly provide one-on-one care to every child. I love to empower children to learn new things and accomplish tasks by themselves. I treat children as I would like to be treated, including understanding that they have feelings that may be hard to verbalize. I like to use games, coloring, reading and other tools like these to help children understand their world.
