About Elise

I like working with kids because it is very rewarding. I love being able to see kids smile and have fun with me. Connecting with children is so important to me so they are comfortable and trust that I can take care of them. I started working with kids when I was 14 but I grew up with two brothers so I quickly learned how to take care of my younger brother. At 14 I began reffing children sports and volunteering at my local summer camp. At 16 I became a counselor at this camp and at 19 was promoted to Supervisor of counselors and children ages 5-7 where I have been the last two years. While at college I work at a day care for ages 1 1/2 to 4 with other teachers. One thing you should know about me is that I am in college studying for the major Child Development Education Prep hoping to become an elementary school teacher. I'm looking for a job that I am able to work during my winter and summer breaks when the adults are working or have date nights, etc.
