About Elizabeth

I have recently been a nanny for 2 years for 3 children. I am now a permanent substitute in the brentwood district. I am interested in pursuing a position in elementary tutoring or nannying. I am eligible to teach students from 2 years old to 6th grade. As a young child I was tutored and found it an excellent experience which improved my success in school and made me more positive about learning. I feel I can provide encouragement, energy and enthusiasm in helping struggling students to succeed. I will use my strong work ethic and creative skills in music, art and dance to motivate my students. My undergraduate degree was in Spanish and I have a background in bilingual education and am currently working towards an advanced certificate in teaching English to non-native speakers. I had the opportunity to study abroad in Chile for 6 months, and taught English to non-native speakers during this time.
