About Elizabeth

Growing up, there were always children at my house. My mom watched family and friends kids for years. I knew from an early age that I wanted to do something with children. Throughout high school, I taught swimming lessons to family and friends children and through the local school program. After graduating high school, I realized that something to do with children, was becoming an elementary school teacher. I graduated with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. In between coaching a high school swim team, looking for a full time teaching job, and working at a gift shop, I decided to go back to school for my masters degree in Literacy Education. The past three summers, I have taught swimming lessons at a private country club to children ages 0-14 and even adults. After graduating with my masters degree, I accepted a full time 4th grade teaching position.
