About Elizabeth

While I have worked professionally with babies and children, as my kids get older I am very excited by the opportunity to work with seniors. About 10 years ago, my mother found out she had ALS, and I moved her into our home and cared for her around the clock until she had to go into hospice. But I had help from some very lovely people who came to bathe and stay with her if I had to go out with my family. Because of that, I promised that I would one day love to be there for someone else in my previous shoes. Also, I genuinely enjoy and get along with older people, and I always have. While I have no official experience, I do have lots of references from mothers of children that I've cared for, as well as all my clearances. My youngest child is 8 and he gets home from school at 4, so have all day open and would love to fill it by helping someone who needs me, as well as making a new friend. I am very easy going, little surprises me, and I love to chat and to listen.
