Hello, for the past year I have been working for a local agency as a companion caregiver and have found this is something that I seem to be very good at. I suppose it's because I can relate to a lot of my clients because I am 68 years old which makes me a senior. I'm in good health and enjoy my job. I find one of the most important things in companion care is having the perfect fit. If you don't have that connection it most likely will not work out. I worked in healthcare for 15 years until my grandson was born and I decided to quit working to care for him but now he is all grown up and I need something to keep me busy. I can only work part time but I am flexible with my hours. One important thing in companion care is companionship! I do my best to make my clients have the best day they can have. I help with many daily activities such as but not limited to light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders, run errands , take to appointments, perhaps other tasks if needed
