About Elysha

I am 28 years old, live in Brighton and work full-time during the week. I like to pick up occasional babysitting jobs when I can. I am the oldest of seven children and essentially grew up as a mother's helper, a position I absolutely loved! My family is basis for all of the childcare skills I have. When I was only 10 years old, I was a mother's helper for an infant whose mom worked from home, and soon started babysitting for various families. During high school and college, I worked full-time as a nanny in the summer and part-time in the school year. I am at ease with children of all age and have worked with children ranging from newborn to 16 years old. Many times, this has been in families of 2+ children. I love to sing, do arts and crafts, play outside, go for walks, or play whatever games the kids can come up with (within reason, of course!). I also love to cook and bake with the kids. I have experience as a tutor for HS students, and I can handle general homework help as well.
