About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily Anne and I have over 10 years of childcare experience between working as a private nanny for many wonderful families, and teaching at various Montessori schools around the country. In 2018 I received my BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and I enjoy bringing my love of art into my time with children. I've always liked getting messy with a fun new creative project! .. And cleaning up afterward ;) Growing up in Portland, exploring and spending time outdoors was an important part of my upbringing and something that I love to share with kids as much as possible! In my personal time I love traveling and meeting new people, hiking, cross country skiing, cozying up with a book on a rainy morning and baking yummy treats from new cookbooks or from the stained pages of trusted family recipes. I also love discovering new interests through the interests of the children that I spend time with, and encourage them in what appeals to them!
