About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, and I'm currently studying for a BFA in Education. I've enjoyed working with kids since I was a Junior Girl Scout helping Brownies earn their patches. I started babysitting my newborn and toddler cousins when I was in high school, and I loved it. At 21, I applied to sleep-away camp in Massachusetts where I've spent every summer since 2016. They have been the best summers of my life. I now serve as the Camp Art Director, instructing classes. I have part-time nannied for the Camp Director's 4-year-old and we spent our days fishing, coloring, and reenacting Star Wars battles. Over the years, I have spent the most time with kids from preschool to late teens, but I have also cared for babies and I love working with kids of all ages. I like playing outside, acting in imaginative games, dancing, and doing all things art and crafts. I am a huge psy-fi nerd; I love reading and I have previously tutored math. In my free time, I love making art, taking photos, and baking.
