About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily, I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I have always been passionate in working with children. I have experience with nannying for another family when I was in high school. They had 3 kids and I nannied for them for 1 1/2 years. Before I moved to Hawaii, I was working as a horse back riding instructor and taught children from ages 3 years old and up. I had this job for 2 years and absolutely loved every minute of it. Last year, I was working at Kapiolani Women's and Children's hospital as a Nurse assistant so i'm trained in infant CPR and choking. I had to resign due to my school schedule. Most recently I worked at The Cole Academy for a year as a teacher assistant in the toddler class and the 2's. I am responsible, kind hearted, organized, energetic, and reliable. I love would to have the opportunity to nanny 2-3 days a week during this summer before I enter nursing school :)
