About Emily

I've been lucky enough to attend a wide variety of different types of schools and classes growing up - Montessori, college prep, lectures, acting workshops, private voice lessons, PhD level Psychology discussion courses, etc. - and through all of those and more I have learned a great deal about different teaching and learning styles. I know what works best for me, but I also am able to adapt that to children that think or look at the world differently than me and that is one of my biggest strengths. I love learning and I love children, so helping children learn is very special to me. I think learning should be fun and engaging and hands on that is a priority for me when I watch kids and when I help them learn.
