About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily! I am a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed in the state of NY. I am currently employed in a school setting where I provide occupational therapy services to children diagnosed with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders. I am looking for a part-time senior care position for the summer. I have experience working with elderly individuals diagnosed with various health conditions (including dementia) within a physical rehabilitation environment. Duties included implementing simple exercise programs and assisting with bathing, toileting, dressing, and other self-care needs to increase safety and independence. I am comfortable helping out with errands, simple meal preparation, and light housework. I look forward to building rapport with your loved one!
