About Emily

Hi! I am an experienced caregiver looking for a great family! I have a masters degree from Texas State and a bachelor's for the University of Southern Mississippi. I moved to Austin in 2019 and worked for several years as a nanny both full time and part time. I have been in childcare in various capacities for over a decade including regular babysitting, two years as a teacher's assistant in both a young 2's class and the nursery at Trinity Play School. I was the Children's Intern at Parkway Heights UMC for over a year and I worked in their nursery throughout all four years in college. I have kept infants through teenagers and I am comfortable with large families. I started babysitting as a way to make some extra money in high school but as I got older I developed a love for teaching and mentoring. I want to make a positive impact and foster a healthy atmosphere for your children. I am a believer in the power of play, whether that be playing tag or doing an arts and crafts project.
