About Emily

I was first exposed to the importance of providing compassionate and thoughtful care to our elders when my grandmother, suffering from dementia, was placed under the care of a rotating list of nurses in an assistend living facility. Eventually, my visits became frequent, and over the span of a couple years, I helped my mother take care of anything that further improved my grandmother's stay. How would the nurses know the importance of getting every strand of hair curled just right? Or which set of pearls she wore to mass? Or exactly how fried she wanted her filet? Since her passing, I've desired to follow a commitment to taking care of those who came before. Beyond that, I want to provide an opportunity for our senior population to benefit from the kind of caregiving that cares about those strands of hair and pearls. It's important to them, and it's important to me.
