About Emily

I began babysitting at 15 and have worked with children in several professional settings over the past nine years. I spent three summers working as a counselor at a sleep-away camp, taking care of a bunk full of girls ranging in ages from 7 to 13, for a month at a time. In addition to supervising my campers and ensuring their well-being throughout the day, I also worked on the waterfront at the camp. During this time I was lifeguarding and teaching Red Cross swim and water safety classes. I then worked for FGCU where I was a lifeguard and Red Cross swimming and water safety instructor for children aged 6 months and up. I currently work full time as a medical assistant for a private practice, and am looking for nannying/babysitting opportunities outside of my typical 8-5 M-F schedule.
