About Emily

Hi there! I am a Covid-19 vaccinated, energized child caretaker and youth advocate with 10+ years of dedicated experience caring for children ages 6 weeks to 14 years old. I have previously served in several positions pertaining to child and youth engagement, including as a babysitter, camp counselor, mentor, and day camp director, and always ensure that the children I work with feel supported, valued, and energized. I am confidently able to think on my feet to develop creative, interactive activities and opportunities for meaningful learning, whether through arts and crafts, playing guitar, or developing reading skills. Most recently, I spent two years as a babysitter for two children, aged six weeks and four years, while I was a full-time student at Bard College. I now occasionally babysit a family with a 2 and 5-year-old in Park SIope. I am open to part-time, night-time, and when-needed opportunities in the New York City area!
