About Emma

Hello families! My name is Emma Kate. I am an Occupational Therapy major at Cape Fear here in Wilmington. My aim within this degree is pediatrics and to focus on behavioral and motor control aspects. One thing that I love to incorperate into babysitting is educational activites. When it comes to infants I try to focus on sensory and fundamental learning. However, I love to play and have fun with the kids. Before babysitting for families I try to find out some favorite crafts, toys and activities of the kid(s) and create an experience that is focused on things that are important and meaningful to each child. Another thing that I try to be very intentional about is implementing the routine and habbits that the parents have put in place.
