About Emma Jane

Hi! My name is Emma and I'm a 18-year-old first year at San Jose State. I'm looking to start babysitting and pet sitting again to help me get through college as I'm paying for tuition and housing on my own. I started working at a summer camp when I was 11 years old, teaching children ages 5-13 how to care, interact safely, and ride horses. I worked at that summer camp for 4 more years after that, stopping when was 16. I than began babysitting in my city for the reminder of high school, as well as working at a local burger drive-in. My responsibilities as a camp instructor and babysitter included watching after and making sure the kids were safe (I would watch up to 6 kids at a time) for a prolonged period of time, making and prepping food, creating activities for the children to engage in, and helping with any tasks needed. I am also available to work with household pets, as i've had a cat and two dogs, and pet rodents for the majority of my life.
