About Ephratah

I am a Junior in college at Seattle University studying interdisciplinary liberal studies with a specialization in K-8 education. Before I started school I was a back up care babysitter and have watched over 50 kids between the ages of 4months old - 12 years old. My mom is a single mother of 4, the other 3 being my 3 little brothers so I grew up taking care of all 3 of them. I took child development as well as teacher academy throughout high-school and have worked with children in classrooms because of those courses. In the summer of 5th grade I moved to Ethiopia for 2 years and am now fluent in Amharic and can read and write in the language as well. I graduated high-school with a 3. 8 GPA and am at Seattle University with multiple scholarships while maintaining my GPA. I also work with the youth camp in the summers as an overnight camp counselor. I just recently got done doing 5 weeks of over night camp working with children between the ages of 5-12.
