About Erika

Hello! My name is Erika. I am the mother of 2 beautiful adult daughters who I personally taught to speak, read and write in Spanish. Thanks to that they are both fully bilingual. I don't necessarily have academic credentials just yet, my plan is to take a course to get certified but I am a native Spanish speaker, an avid reader and I do have about 20 years experience as a teacher/trainer at my previous job for both Spanish and English speakers. I also have close to 17 years volunteering as a Bible teacher therefore I can say I've always had a passion for teaching and helping others understand things clearly. I currently work as a nanny and working with kids is another thing I am passionate about, although I am not the kids teacher, I do take any opportunity I have to teach them, guide them and help them reach new milestones. And I enjoy teaching them basic things like counting in Spanish and small sentences or phrases. I can provide references!
