About Evelena

My name is Evelena (they/them) and I am a professional nanny and postpartum doula . I have worked as a nanny professionally in Seattle for 8+ years, specializing in infant care. Additionally, I've worn many hats as a dance and arts educator in public schools, IE, and as a household manager in NYC, concluding over 14+ years experience working with children ages 0-17 in schools, community centers, medical institutions, and preschools/daycare centers. I am also a trained racial justice facilitator and approach care-work from a trauma-informed perspective to center connection, compassion, and nuance. In Seattle, I have worked with families navigating the American adoption system, queer families, families navigating grief and loss, and families with multi-parent structures. I have extensive experience with nanny shares, infant shares, and working with children who are differently-abled.
