I started working in healthcare around 2017. I started as a home care professional. My residents were around the age of 16 and up. As I Worked different shifts my responsibility varied. I would make meals, light housekeeping, laundry, take my residents out for appointments and activities, and pass medication at the right time. I was there to remind my residents of their daily tasks like showering and cleaning up after themselves. In 2022 I got my CNA and began working in nursing homes. I helped my residents transfer in and out of bed as well as getting them ready for their day. I help them wash up and brush their teeth in preparation for breakfast. During the day I would make sure to stay dry and comfortable. We do activities and go out into the garden. I would make sure they don't miss lunch and dinner. At the end of the day I help them get ready and get into bed. I've worked with different residents that needed different kinds of help and I respect everyone's care and will keep it
