About Forum

I am studying Biology in the Honors College at Virginia Commonwealth University and have a pre-med concentration because one day I hope to be a pediatrician. I truly enjoy working with children and hope to gain more experience for the future. I am the oldest of three siblings, so I have always been in charge of helping take care of kids. Throughout high school and since I started college I have been hired by some of my teachers to take care of their children, which is where most of my experience has come from. I have regularly babysat three children at the same time ranging from six months to age 5. I am very comfortable changing diapers, giving children milk/feeding them, playing games, and putting children to sleep. As a former Girl Scout and show choir member, I am very comfortable with arts and crafts, singing songs, and making sure kids have as much fun as possible. Recently, in order to earn my Girl Scout Gold award, I held an environmental awareness activity at a local library for children ages 5 to 11 to learn how to make environmentally friendly artwork. Certain hobbies I have include playing soccer, arts and crafts, learning Spanish, and spending time with my family.
