About Frances

It is my absolute passion to work with those who have Dementia. I currently work as a program coordinator for an assisted living facility. In other words, I plan and carry out activities for residents who have dementia. Working with this population fills my whole heart. I naturally work well with them, and have an ability to connect and empathize with them. They can feel my genuine spirit and positive attitude, which allows people to feel very comfortable with me. I believe, not all people are meant to do this sort of work, but for me it is as natural as breathing. Those with dementia have lost many of their cognitive ability, but they are able to feel energy very well. I make sure that my energy toward them always feels soft, light, and open. Lastly and most importantly, I believe people with dementia are always truly living in the moment, because the past and future is hard to grasp; It is my purpose to create beautiful moments for them to experience each day.
